Do not under any circumstances buy a Brother printer. They rig the machine so that it will accept no generic toners. You use a brother toner or the machine won’t work. Amazing!

I was surprised that there is no printer cable (from the printer to the computer) inside the box… I really DO NOT understand what is secrete beyond this missing piece(this component is essentiall to start work, simple, and cheap), thats why I can NOT rate this printer right now because I just ordered the printer cable online and I did not install or use this printer yet. the design and size is very nice I REALLY LIKE IT.

This product was given as a gift. No first hand usage; heard it was fine except that to use legal paper there was some issue otherwise it was fine for recipient and the set-up was easy.

Someone else mentioned just inadequate for scanning needs. The scanner is horrible. Very dark images, way too much contrast, and blues come out as purple. Printer is great, but that’s about what it’s good for. If you want a multifunction you’re better off buying an HP.

I am more than impressed with this monochrome laser printer. It prints without problems or paper jams. It scan perfectly. I would recommend this without a doubt to any individual searching for a laser printer.
