Makes great copies if you can figure out how to work it. The instruction manual is very confusing.

Nice copier, beautiful copies. If you don’t need many features or a speed demon, this is the copier for you. Has a USB port so you can print right from your computer… sweet! One issue is that the toner that came with our unit did not do the promised 3500 hundred copies–more like half that. (I suspect that is intentional w/ the toner that comes with the unit, so that they make their money, more on toner sales than copier sales). This is an excellent copier. Amazon handled the purchase perfectly. Copier is easy to use and reasonably fast, but….
My main concern with this product is its lack of compatibility in printer mode with the Apple Mac system. Canon does not even provide a driver for any Mac for this unit. No reason is given for this remarkable omission. At the very least Canon should make clear in the advertised specifications that this printer/copier is not a Mac compatible printer and that Canon has no plans for providing Mac support.
Ignoring the Apple market is a huge mistake for Canon and must be a significant disappointment for many purchasers of this unit. It certainly is for me.

I like the speed of the first copy compared to the previous printer we had. The toner cartdriges are very inexpensive for this model. The copies that this printer makes are great for our small business. I dont like how flimsy the flatbed scanner lid is.
